Salt Lake City, March 16, 2006 - Tandem Labs, a privately held company with more than 130 national and international clients and over 120 employees, recently celebrated its 25 th anniversary.
Denis Lin, Ph.D., President and CEO of Tandem Labs, stated enthusiastically, "This anniversary not only commemorates our longevity and stability in an ever changing industry but also illustrates our client-centric focus wherein we exist to serve the needs of our clients. Tandem Labs has achieved a seven-year, 27-percent compound annual growth rate in revenue through 2005. This respectable growth rate has been accomplished solely by leveraging internal resources. Tandem's proven management team is continuing this organic growth in 2006. Explains Dr. Lin, "Our commitment to remaining an industry leader is very high and we are ready and eager to meet our clients' most demanding challenges."
Tandem Labs began operating in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1981 and is the company's corporate headquarters. Since 1992, the operational focus has been the application of mass spectrometry expertise to support new drug development for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. This specialization has resulted in the emergence of Tandem Labs as a leading bioanalytical contract research organization (CRO), offering both advanced mass spectrometry services as well as biomarker and immunoanalytical services.
The Utah facility is a modern laboratory with more than 24,000-square-feet of dedicated space and a highly trained technical staff. Tandem Labs-Salt Lake City specializes in GLP-compliant bioanalysis and discovery services utilizing LC/MS/MS and GC/MS/MS platforms.
Tandem's second location opened in Princeton, New Jersey in 1998; three years later, this operation relocated to a newly designed 10,000-square-foot laboratory facility in West Trenton, New Jersey. This facility expanded once more in 2005 to accommodate the new biomarker and immunoanalytical division, with square footage now totaling 14,000 square feet.
The New Jersey facility is designed specifically for GLP-compliant bioanalysis on LC/MS/MS and various immunoanalytical platforms.
